Scott County passed a $25 million bond issue in November of 2017 for district upgrades and security and safety features. The project includes renovations to the High School and Elementary School along with additions and renovations to the Middle School and Sports Complex. A new safety vestibule is designed to seamlessly integrate into the design of the existing High School. The Sports Complex project features a new 1,500 seat grandstand, elevated press box, ticket booth, concession stand and ADA restrooms. The largest portion of the overall project budget is allocated to the Middle School for a new addition to include a classroom wing, 1,800 seat top-loaded competition gymnasium and flexible commons area.
