GMCN Architects Acquires PBA Architects

GMCN Architects and PBA Architects Join Forces

GMCN Architects has acquired PBA Architects and are combining their experienced teams. In order to better serve clients, on November 1, GMCN Architects is one strong design family having offices in Garden City and Wichita, KS. GMCN Architects will provide design services across the entire state of Kansas.

Both firms have a long history in the architectural business and have years of experience in similar project types. GMCN Architects started in 1971 and PBA Architects started in 1949. The current team will carry on the founders’ culture of taking care of the client and providing functional and aesthetic design. Conversations regarding the acquisition started several months ago.

PBA Architects has completed many projects in the eastern half of Kansas and GMCN Architects has completed many projects in the western half of Kansas. This allows the firm to be available to clients and industry partners across Kansas. With similar culture and commitment to clients, the acquisition of PBA aligned with GMCN Architect’s mission and vision. GMCN Architects office will continue at 115 E. Laurel Street, Garden City, and the staff from PBA Architects will move to a new building at 235 N. Ohio Street, Suite B in downtown Wichita.

Daily operations will not change for either firm. The firm’s commitment of collaboration and delivering personalized customer service and quality design to clients. Transition period has been seamless and clients and industry partners will see no impact in serving them.
